Historic District Commission

The Jackson National Register Historic District was established on December 4, 1980, and included over one hundred historically significant structures representing every architectural style and movement from the town's founding until Centenary College moved to Shreveport in 1908. The red dots on the map represent structures on the National Register of Historic Places; crosses on the dots are structures that have subsequently been torn down, moved or destroyed by fire.
