Visitor Information Folders for Bed & Breakfasts, 2000 to present. Folders include a welcoming letter from the Mayor of Jackson, Jackson maps, what to see and do in Jackson, a little Jackson history, walking tour brochures, and attraction brochures in the area.
Public Information Kiosk -2001A public bulletin board located outside the Commission Office, built by the Commission to get the word out on what is happening in Jackson. It has proven to be very popular.
Sidewalk Information Stations -2002 to present planned as a series of 30-plus information stations throughout the historic district to describe the history of significant structures. Old photos are included, where available, to provide a "then and now" comparison. These information stations are made possible by a grant from the Louisiana Division of Historic Preservation.
Historic Structure Marker Signs - 2002 to present. Aluminum historic structure signs placed in front of structures listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a part of the Jackson Historic District. Fabricated and erected in partnership with the Jackson Assembly, and made possible through a grant from the Louisiana Division of Historic Preservation.
